As one of our " unique-to-us " services,
we offer Private Shopping Parties
to groups of six or more

What is a private shopping party ?

Here's the scoop:
You choose a night to have Waves of Creation all to
yourself and your group of friends. Private shopping
parties are a fantastic option for group events or just
a chic girl's night out on the town! You simply
show up, socialize and shop while enjoying
refreshments and the company of your friends,
and a special discount!

•  Introduce your guests to the gift store that you
love and the works of over 40 talented RI artisans!

•  Each guest will receive discounts of 10-20% on
their purchases (some exclusions may apply)

•  No games, no demonstrations to sit through.
Just a nice get-together with your guests ...
a great girl's night out!

•  Waves of Creation will provide cheese and crackers,
cider, cookies. Feel free to bring a bottle of wine
or any other snacks you might like.

•  We invite you to have a theme: PJ night, Costume night, Wine & Cheese, etc?

And while they shop, your friends can hunt for treasures
hidden throughout the store.  We can't give away all our
secrets, but the treasures might include coupons
for extra savings, and even free gifts such as a
pair of earrings, lip balm, pottery, hand made soaps
or any number of special treats!

For added fun, you can choose to have one of our artisans present during your party so you and your friends can
create your own work of art. Artisans are available for the following dates and activities. You may still book
these dates and choose not to have the artisan activity, just let us know.

Activity Descriptions:
Earring Design-Design your own earrings with jeweler
Mary Shalkowski of Artful Ramblings.
Cost-$5.00 per participant.

Photo Tile-Bring a LASER printed copy of your favorite
photo to transfer to a tile.
Cost-$20.00 per participant.

Bracelet Design-Make a bracelet with
jeweler Anne Viens of Anne-Made Designs.
Cost-$15.00 per participant.

Paint an Ornament-Paint and glaze your
own ceramic ornament with Ceramicist Stephanie White.
She will fire them and they will be ready for pick-up the following week.
Cost-$5.00 - 8.00 per participant.

Needle Felting -. Felt a basic human form decorated
simply with thread and yarn with doll maker Madeline Beaudry.
Decorate with jewelry findings to make
a pin out of it. Includes a viewing of ?Art of the Doll?
Cost-$10.00 per participant.

Splash of Color -A relaxed and fun way to learn how to paint
with watercolors with Germaine Krobath,
a professional artist and educator. You will have a
completed painting design at the end of the party!
Cost-$15.00 per participant.

Bath Fizzies

Sugar Scrubs 
Make your own bath fizzies or sugar scrubs from scratch with
Laura Winward of The Scented Bath
Fizzies-$3.00 per participant.
Scrubs-$6.00 per participant.

Some other important details

•  Parties may be scheduled on Tuesday or Friday evenings from 6:30 pm until 8:30pm
or Sunday evenings from 5:30-7:30 pm.

•  Reserve your party a minimum of 2 weeks in advance.

•  We will provide you with post cards to send to your guests,
but don't forget email and phone calls, they work too!

•  A minimum of 6 confirmed guests is required and no more than 20.
