Waves of Creation

Karen Chilton is terrible at math.  She was warned that this would be the case, as she spent most math classes hiding out at the back of the classroom, scribbling fiction.  If a train leaves Boston at 10 a.m. traveling west at 100 mph and another train leaves Chicago at 11 a.m. traveling east at 80 mph, at what point will they pass one another?  Karen sometimes wishes she knew.

Karen lives in Rhode Island with her son Ryan, a cat named Godzilla, two guinea pigs and two hermit crabs. The frog and goldfish mentioned in her earlier biography were casualties of an unfortunate koi pond incident late last fall. Raccoons with a sushi craving are the suspected culprits. Godzilla is investigating.

Karen still enjoys scribbling fiction, especially now that she gets paid to do it instead of getting in trouble.

She is grateful her cell phone has a calculator.
